Welcome to the Reflux Sorceress Build Guide! This build revolves around continuously slinging spells at your enemies while evading their attacks with unparalleled mobility through Blink (X).

Reflux Sorceressexcels at providing Stagger and Counter on demand. Her Destruction capability is average. The Class Engraving increases the damage of your skills and lowers their cooldowns, but disables your ability to use Arcane Rupture (Z).

Builds

Gameplay & Skill Rotation

Reflux Sorceress receives +16/22/28% Damage and -3/6/10% Cooldowns, but her ability to use Arcane Rupture is disabled.

Since Arcane Rupture is disabled, your only use for meter is Blink (X).

This build focuses on constantly dealing damage by overwhelming the enemy with a multitude of spells in quick succession while remaining safe with Blink (X).

One of the cornerstones of dealing high damage is the Boundless MP effect of the Nightmare Set. After activating this set by using your Awakening, you will be granted the Magick Addiction buff, increasing your damage and causing your skills to consume 7% of your maximum mana with each cast, on top of their normal cost. When you reach below 30% maximum mana, Magick Addiction will turn into Boundless MP, greatly reducing your cooldowns and granting you increased speed and mana regeneration. The goal is to get into Boundless MP as soon as you can and remain in that state for as long as possible. This process is repeated when it inevitably turns back into Magick Addiction upon reaching 100% maximum mana.

Sorceress Identity

To maximize damage output, you should be constantly casting spells and looking for opportunities to fit in attacks. The main drivers behind your choice of next spell to cast should be "How long will it take for this spell to do full damage?" and "Is the target about to move or not?". Considering that you only have a split-second to answer these questions and make a decision, you may not always make the most optimal choice, but improving your ability to do this consistently will lead to mastery of this build.

Almost all of your skills' animations can be cut short by using your spacebar skill, Phase Leap. However, if you are not careful and use it too early, you will cancel the skill entirely and it will do no damage. The most common spells for this combination are Rime Arrow, Esoteric Reaction, and Seraphic Hail.

• While this build does not have a strict rotation, using skills in pairs as presented above is generally more fluid. Explosion can be used when everything else is on cooldown.
• Try your best to maintain your Synergy using Blaze, even if you aren't planning to attack immediately after.

Stagger Check Rotation

• Using skills in this specific order is recommended for most stagger checks. However, each check can vary in duration, so you may need to readjust depending on the situation and your party's composition. Remember you can also use a Whirlwind Grenade if you have one equipped!

Tripods and Gems

Tripod Levelling

Increasing the level of Tripods greatly enhances their effectiveness. You may only increase the level of 18 tripods at a time. Some of them cannot be leveled at all, or are left at level 1 - these tripods are omitted from the table, even if they are used. Here are the main tripods you should look out for in order to maximize this build's potential.

Tripods written in bold text are your highest priority, make sure to level them first!

Gems

Gems are another significant aspect of your build, as they directly impact the damage and cooldowns of your skills. You can equip up to 11 gems at a time. Here are the ones you should focus on in order to maximize this build's potential, listed according to their priority.

Stat Priority

This build utilizes Crit and Swiftness.

• Crit is the primary stat. It directly increases your damage by raising your Crit Rate.
• Swiftness is the secondary stat. It offers a small boost in cooldown reduction, as well as attack and movement speed.

Nightmare Set

This set is the only option for this build, since it relies on the Boundless MP effect to function properly.

The name of your set will change every time you acquire a higher tier of gear, but the set effect will remain the same. Look for your set's keyword when recrafting it in order to find it more easily (e.g Entropy, Hallucination etc).

Engravings

Engravings are a core part of your build. Typically, most engravings will be used at level 3, but there are some that can be used at level 1 or 2 in addition to the others, after reaching item level 1540 and unlocking Ancient Accessories.

Engraving Explanations

Core Engravings

• Reflux grants +16/22/28% Damage and -3/6/10% Cooldowns, but disables Arcane Rupture.
• Grudge increases damage done while also increasing damage received. The engraving is a highly effective damage increase without needing specific positioning, making it worthwhile even with the penalty.
• Adrenaline provides an additional source of Crit Rate and Attack Power. It is naturally easy to upkeep.
• Hit Master provides an unconditional damage boost to your skills, as none of the important ones have a positional affix.
• Keen Blunt Weapon is a good option that synergizes well with your stats.

Level 1 and 2 Engravings

• Adrenaline provides an additional source of Crit Rate and Attack Power. It is naturally easy to upkeep. If you choose this option as a level 1 engraving, run Cursed Doll at level 3 for an Attack Power increase, at the cost of -25% healing.
• Ether Predator is a good option, providing a ramping Attack Power and Defense effect as the fight goes on.

Bracelet

Bracelets provide beneficial effects to yourself or to your party members depending on the rolls they have.

The primary goal is to get the main stats used by this build Crit and Swiftness. After that you should be aiming for Special Rolls to get more damage. Please note that this system is heavily reliant on RNG, and you should not expect to get much more beyond your main stats early on.

Card Sets

Cards are an endgame system that helps maximize your character's damage. Here are the recommended card sets for this build.

• Deep Dive is used early on as it is fairly easy to obtain.
• Light of Salvation is the standard endgame option, but it can take a long time to acquire 30-piece Awakening.
• Kazeros's Legion Commanders is used as an alternative to Light of Salvation, in content where enemies have a weakness to Dark Damage.
