Feuding families have long been a staple of storytelling. In Bring Them Down, Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott take center stage as Jack and Michael, two farmers from rival families in rural Ireland whose escalating animosity drives them toward catastrophic consequences.

Directed by Christopher Andrews in his feature debut, the film delves into the destructive spiral of vengeance, painting a portrait of two men consumed by their enmity.

Set to make its Irish debut on February 7, 2025, the first-look trailer for the Irish drama has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a film.

Bring Them Down explores the bitter feud between Michael, a shepherd devoted to tending the O'Shea family's sheep, and Jack, whose family isn’t above slaughtering the livestock to send a message.

The revenge-fueled narrative unfolds in a series of calculated strikes, from sabotaged property to dead animals, as each side lashes out to inflict maximum pain. The teaser released by distributor MUBI hints at a story brimming with tension, aggression, and the question: how far will these men go to break the cycle of hatred? Will murder be the only resolution?

Alongside Keoghan and Abbott, the cast features Nora-Jane Noone (The Magdalene Sisters, Brooklyn), Paul Ready (A Gentleman in Moscow, Motherland), and Susan Lynch (Enduring Love, Waking Ned Devine).

The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received praise for its gripping performances which was followed by a Best Picture win in the main competition at Fantastic Fest 2024. Most recently, Bring Them Down screened at the BFI London Film Festival in October.

As its release approaches, Bring Them Down asks how far people will go to settle scores.
